Brigg’s & Riley or Pathfinder - You Decide!

October 13th, 2008

It didn’t take long for designers to come up with computer briefs designed to make navigating airport security easier and faster! Two models that have just arrived in the marketplace are from Briggs & Riley luggage and Pathfinder. The Pathfinder model is featured on the back page of our 2008 holiday catalog and is sure to get a lot of interest! The wheeled model from Pathfinder has a leather handle wrap and lots of organizer pockets. The front compartment opens on both sides to lie flat on the x-ray belt, allowing you to leave your laptop in the case when going through airport security. This means you won’t be slowed down during the screening process because you have to remove your laptop. It also means there’s less chance of you forgetting your laptop, or having it misplaced while going through airport security. This Pathfinder wheeled case also has a front pocket designed for travel or office accessories, along with pockets for your PDA or cell phone. The leather handle wraps allow for ease in carrying when you’re not wheeling through busy airports or out to the taxi stand. The “compubrief” model without wheels has three zippered main compartments and a removable shoulder strap. Both models are made of 1682D nylon for strength and durability. The reason these Pathfinder briefs are TSA compliant is that the front pocket opens and holds your laptop only. On the airport conveyor belt, the bag zippers open and lie flat. Cables, documents and accessories are out of the way and do not interfere with the screening process, making going through security a breeze! Briggs & Riley luggage introduced the @work collection of rolling and regular briefcases with a new checkpoint friendly speedthru laptop sleeve. These speedthru laptop sleeves are “checkpoint-friendly” and have the diamond TSA acceptance emblem. While TSA may still ask you to remove your laptop, these speedthru sleeves have no metal snaps or zippers or buckles to cloud the images. TSA requires an obstructed image or your laptop. There are no pockets on the inside or outside of the Briggs & Riley laptop-only sections, and they unfold completely to lie flat on the X-ray belt. All of the Briggs & Riley products have a lifetime performance guarantee and are repaired free of charge, including any damage from common carriers.
